Status meetings exist for a good reason: nobody knows the state of things otherwise. The cost is that the whole team pays for the update every week, at the same time.

The first three can be read from the work itself. In Schedule Operator every project carries a health score, approvals have names, cycles close with what slipped, and the coach drafts a five-line status note – so that the meeting that remains is only about the fourth.
