Hire an assistant, or buy back the week?
The first year of an assistant or a coordinator, written out next to a system and an operator – with the parts nobody puts in the spreadsheet.
When the week gets too heavy, the usual answer is a person: an executive assistant or a project coordinator. It is a good answer, and it costs more than the salary.
An assistant still needs a system to run, holidays and a manager. The Office brings the system and the operator together, and it does not leave in the spring.
What the spreadsheet leaves out
- The months before the new person is at full speed.
- The system they still need to run the week in.
- Holidays, sick days, and the day they move on.
Operator Office brings both halves: the system that plans, books, assigns and invoices, and a named operator who runs the week with you every day. When the operator is away, the team behind them is not.
Sometimes the right answer is both: an assistant who works inside the system. Team Operator is built for that – so that the assistant's hours go to the work that needs a person.
